Photovoltaic industry or will maintain high boom

China Investment Advisory Network News As an important part of the new energy industry, driven by the national strategic new industry plan, the photovoltaic industry is expected to maintain a high degree of prosperity. China is the world's largest producer of solar cells and modules. Most of the components produced are for export, and the domestic installed capacity market remains to be developed. The industry believes that the new energy strategy promoted by the country will surely expand the solar energy installation market.

Guohai Securities pointed out that in most countries, the cost of solar power generation is very different from that of thermal power generation and hydropower generation. The photovoltaic power generation industry does not have its own vitality. The development of the industry depends mainly on two major powers. First, national policy support, on-grid tariffs and investment subsidies are the main methods. The second is technological progress, increasing conversion rates and reducing the cost of power generation.

During the period 2002-2005, European governments gradually implemented incentive measures for the photovoltaic industry, formulated renewable energy laws and implemented subsidized electricity prices. Among them, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy and other countries have taken the lead in the development of the photovoltaic industry. China's photovoltaic industry started late. After 2007, with the gradual implementation of national policy stimulus policies, the installed capacity of photovoltaics soared.
