Our common motor cooling methods are: natural cooling, forced air cooling, wind-air cooling, feng shui cooling, water cooling, what is the meaning of it, how to understand, the following is a small series of Dalan motor to learn the cooling method of the motor and Its code name!

1. Oil pump motor cooling concept:

(1) Cooling: When the motor is performing energy conversion, there is always a small amount of loss converted into heat. It must constantly dissipate heat through the motor casing and the surrounding medium. This process of dissipating heat is called cooling. (2) Cooling medium: a gas or liquid medium that transfers heat. (3) Primary cooling medium: A gas or liquid medium whose temperature is lower than a certain part of the motor, which is in contact with the part of the motor and carries away the heat released therefrom. (4) Secondary cooling medium: a gas or liquid medium having a lower temperature than the primary cooling medium, and the heat released from the primary cooling medium is carried away by the outer surface of the motor or the cooler. (5) Final cooling medium: heat is transferred to the final cooling medium. (6) Surrounding cooling medium: a gas or liquid medium in the environment surrounding the motor. (7) Remote medium: a medium away from the motor, which draws heat from the motor through the inlet and outlet pipes or passages and discharges the cooling medium to a distant place. (8) Cooler: A device that transfers the heat of one cooling medium to another cooling medium and keeps the two cooling medium separate.

2, cooling method code specification

(1) The motor cooling method code is mainly composed of the cooling method mark (IC), the circuit arrangement code of the cooling medium, the cooling medium code, and the driving method code of the cooling medium movement. IC + circuit layout code + cooling medium code + push method code (2) cooling method mark code is the English International Cooling (International Cooling) letter abbreviation, expressed by IC.

3. The circuit layout code of the cooling medium is represented by a characteristic number.

4. The cooling medium code is as follows: air A, hydrogen H, nitrogen N, carbon dioxide C, water W, oil U. If the cooling medium is air, the letter A describing the cooling medium can be omitted, and the cooling medium we use is basically air.

5. The driving method of cooling medium movement mainly introduces four types:

(1) Relying on the temperature difference to promote the movement of the cooling medium (2) The movement of the cooling medium is related to the motor speed, or due to the action of the rotor itself, it may also be the function of the overall fan or pump hauled by the rotor, causing the medium to move (3) A separate component mounted on the motor drives the movement of the medium. The required power of the component is independent of the speed of the main engine. For example, a backpack fan or fan (4) separate electrical or mechanical components that are installed separately from the motor to drive the cooling medium, or rely on cooling. The pressure in the media circulation system drives the movement of the cooling medium.

6. The cooling method code is marked with simplified mark method and complete mark method. We should give priority to the simplified mark method. The characteristics of the simplified mark method are: if the cooling medium is air, it means the cooling medium code A, in the simplified mark. It can be omitted. If the cooling medium is water and the pushing mode is 7, the number 7 can be omitted in the simplified mark.

7. Commonly used cooling methods are IC01, IC06, IC411, IC416, IC611, IC81W, etc.

For example: IC411 complete marking method is IC4A1A1

“IC” is the cooling mode sign code;

“4” is the cooling medium circuit layout code (case surface cooling)

“A” is the cooling medium code (air)

The first "1" is the primary cooling medium push method code (self-circulation).

The second "1" is the secondary cooling medium push method code (self-circulation).
