International Energy Network News: Japan's Hitachi General Electric Energy Corporation and Tokyo Institute of Technology launched a degree program in nuclear energy, energy and the environment at the University of Electric Power in Hanoi on Tuesday.
The Japanese professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology will teach about 40 EPU undergraduate students.
This is part of the Japan International Human Resources Training Program, which aims to help South East Asian countries who want to use nuclear energy but lack human resources in universities and other institutions.
Tokyo Polytechnic University, which received students from Southeast Asian universities, will also offer this course.
