First, the correct use of safety ropes
1. Attach one end of the escape rope or escape ladder to a firm object, and hang the buckle at the other end on the seat belt or around the waist, fasten the safety hook, and throw the lifeline down the window downstairs.
2. Put on protective gloves and hold the lifeline with both hands. The left foot is hooked on the window sill, and the left ankle is on the outside wall. After the person is stable, the left foot moves out of the window.
3. The two legs are slightly bent, and the two legs are forced to rub the wall surface. The arms are straight and the hands are slightly loose. The eyes are gazing down and sliding down the lifeline.
4. When approaching the ground, the right arm bends forward, tightening the ropes and twisting the legs, and the two toes are first grounded.

Second, which structure is used for the safety rope?
The safety rope requires a diameter of more than 16mm, and has no uneven diameter, unevenness, uneven strength, kinking, etc. along the entire length, and is easy to process and organize, and economical. Commonly used structures are:
1. Three-strand reins (three-strand-necked rope): It consists of three strands twisted in the opposite direction of the rope. This is a method of twisting the rope without changing the twist.
2. Four-strand reins (single rope four-strand rope): Four strands are used, in which a core rope is sandwiched, and the rope is twisted without deformation. The outer circumference of this rope is approximately circular than the three-strand reins, and the core rope is not clamped when the string is made.
3. Multi-flower rope: Three strands of reins are used as strands, and then synthetic ropes are used, but they are rarely used.
4. Six-strand reins: The six strands are sandwiched by a core wire of the same diameter and twisted to form the same structure as the wire rope. However, when all of the fibers are used, they are deformed during use, so this method is rarely used.
5. Braided rope: It is made by using the same number of S捻 and Z捻 strands, which are diagonally intersected with the long direction of the rope. Compared with the shackle, it has the characteristics of no kinking and the end of the rope is not easy to open.

Third, the requirements for setting the horizontal safety rope

1. Hand-held horizontal safety rope should adopt fiber core 6×37+1 steel wire rope with plastic sleeve. Its technical performance should meet the requirements of GBll02 “round wire rope”, and it has product production license and product certificate.
2. Both ends of the wire rope should be fixed on a firm and reliable frame, and the structure should be wound no less than 2 turns. When it is in contact with the corners of the frame, it should be padded.
3. The wire rope end fixed connection should use rope card (also called wire rope clamp), the rope card pressure plate should be at the end of the long wire rope, the number of rope cards should be no less than 3, the rope card spacing should not be less than the diameter of the wire rope 6 Double; the safety collet is installed about 500 mm from the last collet, and the rope head should be released after a safe bend and then clamped with the main rope.
4. The fixed height of the wire rope should be 1.1~1.4m; a fixed support point should be set every 2m; the sag should be 10~30mm after the wire rope is fixed.
5. Hand-held horizontal safety rope is only used as a high-altitude work. In the special case, it is forbidden to use the seat belt suspension point for the ropes when the high-altitude workers walk. It should be checked frequently whether the fixed end or the fixed point is loose, whether the wire rope is damaged or corroded or broken.

Fourth, the use of safety ropes
1. It is strictly forbidden to use the hemp rope as a safety rope.
2. If the length of the safety rope exceeds three meters, a buffer must be installed to ensure the safety of the aerial workers.
3. Two people cannot use a safety rope at the same time.
4. When carrying out high-risk operations, in order to make the high-altitude workers safer on the move, attach the safety belt and hang it on the safety rope.
