"To produce 1 ton of cement, the shaft kiln needs to consume about 125 kg of standard coal, and the rotary kiln only consumes 104 kg, which can save about 17% of the coal used. Moreover, the rotary kiln can collect waste heat for power generation." Fang Qifu added .

It is reported that the two rotary kiln production lines that were constructed with a cost of more than 500 million yuan will have an annual output of 2.8 million tons of cement and an annual production value of more than 1 billion yuan.

At present, Yongan has 5 rotary kiln cement production enterprises. Since 2007, the city has eliminated 3.237 million tons of backward cement production capacity, basically eliminating the production of shaft kiln. Today, the city's annual cement production capacity is nearly 10 million tons, and the proportion of new dry process cement production is 80%. In the past, the “grey” industry has gradually shifted to “green”.
