On August 18, it was learned from the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Henan Province that as of the end of July, 267 enterprises in 19 provinces in the province had been eliminated from backward production capacity, and 260 production lines that had already been eliminated were all shut down.

According to the requirements, this year, the target of eliminating backward production capacity in Henan Province is: the province should eliminate backward production capacity of 2,598,500 kilowatts, ironmaking capacity of 450,000 tons, steelmaking 300,000 tons, electrolytic aluminum of 113,800 tons, ferroalloy 88,800 tons, 90,000 tons of non-ferrous metals, 350,000 tons of coke, 8.62 million tons of cement, 2.04 million weight boxes of glass and 290,000 tons of refractory materials.
